The 30 year old mom of toddlers who feels like she lost her beauty among the baskets of toys and cabinet full of sippy cups...

The breasts cancer survivor who feels like she lost her femininity on the surgery table...

The wife who doesn't see the same woman in the mirror above the his and her sinks that she does in her wedding photos...

The newly single woman who doesn't want to have to seek a man to validate her beauty...

The birthday girl who wants to light her candles without counting the years that have passed her by...

These are the everyday women who inspire me, who I most enjoy working with.

I may be no Brene Brown or Glennon Doyle, but I love getting to encourage women and lead my daughters in such a way that makes them proud to be their beautiful selves. I realized that as much as I enjoy families, events and weddings and will continue to do so, I want to focus on a unique offering in our community, something that truly uses my strengths not just in selecting apertures and editing techniques, but in connecting with clients and making them feel comfortable.

So here we are my friends, introducing "SHINE SESSIONS".

This is my passion project, the niche I would want to do every day for the rest of my career...help women create images that they feel pretty in, to see their inner beauty shining through in portraits just for them.

I envision an experience with a downtown setting in a trendy outfit, changing into a flowing gown to continue by the water or in a field taking our time to get flattering angles and expressions...think senior session, but for grown ups. Think fun engagement session but celebrating just being you. Think boudoir but with all of your clothes on. Think glamour shots with natural light and posing (and a lot less hairspray). Think this is a good idea? I do! I can't wait!
